Guardian Angel

Concept:

The Guardian Angel—an embodiment of protection, care, and support. When the mind grows weak and loses its way, this Guardian Angel appears to guide her back toward the light. 

This piece focuses on texture, created from experimenting with Golden’s molding paste. The result is wonderfully flexible, allowing for well-defined relief. It holds up well to both color mixing and painting over.
